Last night, the NBA basketball series organized a booking event where Bronny James’ name was called as the 55th pick of the draft for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Never before in NBA history has a father and son duo played on the same team. Now there’s a big chance that the Lakers made the pick by Bronny James19, in the NBA draft as the 55th pick in the second round.
Bronny’s father Lebron James, 39, is considered one of basketball’s greats. He has won the NBA championship four times and was selected as the league’s most valuable player four times.
Bronny James is considered a good defensive player. Last season at the University of Southern California, he averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.
In the season that ended, father Lebron James averaged 25.7 points per game for the Lakers, being the 13th best player in the entire series at the age of 39.
Lebron is currently the oldest player in the league. Bronny James was born in 2004, when father James played his first season in the NBA.

However, the reservation does not guarantee a direct playing spot in the NBA, so everything is up to the player himself.
Lebron James is currently in contract negotiations, so it is not certain whether he will also represent the team in the coming season.
