Basketball player LeBron James will be the flag bearer for the United States at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.
The largest delegation present in Paris with 592 athletes for the Olympic Games, the United States had plenty of choice to designate their flag bearer for the opening ceremony this Friday, July 26. Team USA chose the basketball legend LeBron Jameswho is competing in his fourth and final Olympics. He is the first male basketball player to receive the honor. Previous players Dawn Staley and Sue Bird were flag bearers in 2004 and 2021.
