The Israeli army says on the messaging service Telegram that the air force struck the weapons depot of the extremist organization Hezbollah in the area.
At least nine people have died in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon, according to the country’s Ministry of Health. In addition, five people were injured.
Among the dead was a woman and her two children, the Ministry of Health says in its statement.
