“Leaving the crap to a teammate”

A bad AIK substitution paved the way for Mora’s 3–2 goal.
Too bad, says TV4’s expert Fredrik Söderström.
– I am shocked, he says in TV4 Play’s broadcast.
Mora eventually won the match 5–3.

It was in the middle of the second period that the AIK players took too long to change – and offered Mora a free position.

A situation Todd Burgess made sure to take advantage of when he snapped to make it 3-2.

AIK then equalized, but in the second period break, TV4’s expert was not gracious in his criticism of the “Gnaget” players’ actions.

“No good signals”

He said it “freaked out” him.

– When you have a tough time away from home against a good team and play in the second period and have a long way to the booth, you have to have better sense when you leave the ice.

– It’s an ocean – the North Atlantic – through the middle zone and you drop a two-to-nil. It’s not okay. There may be misunderstandings and mistakes but… no. As a teammate who enters the ice and gets a minus on the account, I would be pissed off. You hand over the crap to the teammate who gets to step in. These are not good signals.

“Must not occur”

After the break, Mora scored 4–3 and when AIK was chasing as best as possible to equalise, Oscar Nord took a second for a chat.

– That must not happen, says TV4’s expert commentator Johan Tornberg.

Mora was then able to play off the match and also put the last puck to 5–3.
