League of Legends RP prices are going up

Economic troubles around the world are getting ready to be reflected as a hike in League of Legends RP prices

League of Legends RP prices are going up. Riot Games is preparing to increase RP and TFT Token prices in many regions, including Turkey. The reasons the firm cites are “worldwide inflation, currency fluctuations, maintaining fair pricing across and within servers, ensuring consistency in our products, and increases in other related costs.”

League of Legends RP prices are going up, the expected increase in Turkey pricing is around 19 percent

The cost changes in League of Legends will take effect from 10:00 am on August 19th. However, prior to these price increases, Riot will give double “additional RP” and “additional TFT Tokens” for purchases of RP and TFT Tokens on all servers from July 14 to 31. After the campaign ends, RP packs will return to normal until August 19.

According to Riot’s statement, the expected hike is around 19 percent. This price change was around 11 percent for the UK and 9.8 percent for European servers. It can be said that inflation is reflected on us again. Riot also talked about the changes beyond changing the RP costs of the packages:

-Fixed an issue where champion skins worth 1350 RP or arena skins worth 1380 RP/TFT Tokens could not be obtained with a single purchase on some servers.

Secondly, in order to ensure consistency between games, most real currency prices will be switched to the standard model seen in the mobile game market.
