On November 9, 2023, the second season of the Netflix series Arcane was announced. However, not much is known about the continuation of the series in the LoL universe. Except that it’s supposed to be really good, at least that’s what the boss says.
What does the boss say? Jeremy “Brightmoon” Lee, the executive producer of League of Legends, has apparently already been able to take a look at Arcane and is stoking anticipation. According to him, the upcoming second season should be “really good” – as you would expect.
“It takes time to develop the unique visuals for Arcane with our partners at Fortiche, but it’s progressing well and I think it’s going to be really exciting,” said the LoL boss.
As a reminder, here is the launch trailer for the first season:
Yasuo, the hero of the day?
Where does the information come from? The statement comes from an interview that a clever journalist from PCGamesN conducted with Jeremy “Brightmoon” Lee in May 2023.
With the foresight, she had already asked a few questions about the second season of the successful series. However, the good “Brightmoon” didn’t want to reveal too much.
So he avoids the question about the “leak” – or meme – in which Yasuo appears out of nowhere to knock down Jinx’s Super Mega Death Rocket with a skillfully placed wall of wind (via YouTube).
“I mean, this is a huge spoiler,” said the LoL boss. “Wind Wall is truly the most powerful ability in the game, so…” Of course, that can mean anything or nothing and so we will probably have to wait another year to find out whether the swordsman will actually make his big appearance in the second season of Arcane.
If you’re one of those who can’t wait to find out how the story of Vi, Jinx and Co. continues, here’s an overview of all the information we have so far about the second season. We will update them for you as more becomes known:
