During Tuesday there was a big fight between two teams under 15 years of age in the football tournament Gothia cup.

According to Gothenburg Post the police have now confirmed that a leader has been detained after the fight. In addition, a preliminary investigation into assault is ongoing.

During Wednesday’s game, a match in the tournament’s P18 class had to be abandoned at the end of the second half.

This after a full fight broke out on the field. Police were called to the scene and a player was taken to hospital. Subsequently, two teams were excluded from the tournament.
