Le Pen France must hold new elections already next year

In June, elections were held in France, after which the country drifted into a political impasse.

In France, new parliamentary elections should be held already next year, demanded the leader of the far-right National Alliance (RN) Marine Le Pen on Saturday.

– This is unsustainable. A great country like France cannot continue like this. LePen said while addressing her party.

President of France Emmanuel Macron dissolved parliament in June, after which elections were held in the country. After the elections, France drifted into a political impasse.

The left-wing coalition won the elections, but did not get a majority in parliament, and Macron’s coalition came second. The RN came third and is now the largest single party in parliament.

Last week, Macron appointed a representative of the conservatives Michel Barnier Prime Minister of France. Barnier has promised to assemble the government within the next week.

According to French law, Parliament cannot be dissolved again until at least one year has passed since the previous dissolution.
