Law passed! Russians will not be able to enter without a QR code

The Russian State Duma adopted the draft law on the implementation of QR codes in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

While the bill was being handled by the deputies, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova evaluated the epidemic situation in the country and the Omicron variant, which continues to spread rapidly in the world. Noting the increase in Omicron cases, Golikava said that the number of people infected with the Omicron mutation has reached 25. Expressing her concerns about the spread of the variant, Golikova said, “It is impossible to prevent this situation from growing, given the heavy international passenger traffic and the New Year holidays.”

THOSE WHO CAN TAKE AN ANTIBODY TEST AND GET CERTIFICATE

Golikova said that Russians who caught the coronavirus but did not receive medical help can have an antibody test and get the appropriate certificate. Stating that the antibody level will not be important, Golikova stated that foreigners who have Sputnik-V vaccine in other countries can get a QR code after the antibody test.
