(Finance) – Short Friday, caregiving leave, extension of paternity leave and extension of smart working. These are the key points of the Supplementary Agreement approved today by the assembly of workers at the Lavazza Headquarters, which employs around 1,000 people and is made up of the “Nuvola” offices in Turin and those of Settimo Torinese. The agreement, which will be effective for the three-year period 2023-2025, is the result of constant and constructive dialogue between the company and the trade union organizations (FAI-CISL, UILA-UIL).
“Our main goal is to continue investing in building a rewarding, inclusive and flexible work environment – commented Enrico Contini, Chief Human Resources Officer of the Lavazza Group – The innovations communicated here add to an already substantial corporate welfare system, consolidate the now firm points of our contract and further invest in others such as, for example, supplementary health coverage”.
The project continues Smart Working, already introduced by the company since 2018, with the company having decided to extend the possibility of carrying out one’s work in an agile way up to ten working days per month, which can also be used for several consecutive days; introduced the short friday: collaborators will benefit from early departure on Friday through the use of part of the individual rest periods provided for by the national contract, for a period of fifteen weeks, from May to September.
An additional sixteen hours will be made available for the activity of caregiving, to accompany family members as well as relatives/cohabitants to medical visits, both outside the hospital and in hospital. Furthermore, the company will also recognize 4 hours per year for the need for veterinary care and assistance for its pets.
Granted an additional five days of paternity leave compulsory, fully paid and paid by the Company, in addition to the ten already established by law.
On the occasion of the renewal of the supplementary contract, an additional one will also be disbursed by 12 January special bonus one-time fee to meet the dear life, the total value of 700 euros totally tax-free and articulated in the form of purchase vouchers, fuel bonuses and reimbursement of domestic utilities. Apart from the supplementary contract intended for employees of the Headquarters, the company has decided to provide the personnel of the Italian production plants and the resources of the sales force with a bonuses from 300 euros net for the commitment made in this very complex year.
