Lava Blaze 2 It arrived in April with a modest ₹9,000 price tag, now an upgraded Pro model comes with a better camera, more RAM and a slightly higher price, around ₹10,000. The pricing is this way because the phone will be released first in India.
Starting from the camera, a 50MP main module is used along with a pair of 2MP auxiliary ones. That’s up from the 13MP camera on the regular Blaze 2 and just a 2MP module. The camera on the front has 8MP resolution and is the same as the previous model.
Another important change is Lava Blaze 2 ProIt comes with 8GB RAM instead of 6GB as standard. There is also the option to add 8GB of virtual RAM. The chipset is the same Unisoc T616 chipset as before, while storage is also the same – 128GB internal and up to 256GB more via a microSD card (there’s a hybrid dual-SIM slot). The phone comes with bloat-free, ad-free Android 12 out of the box.
The Pro model comes with the same display as its regular sibling, a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The battery used in the device is also the same, 5,000mAh with 18W charging via USB-C. Accordingly, a full charge takes more than 2 hours.
The Pro model is again a 4G phone, with Wi-Fi 5 (ac) and Bluetooth 5.0 support, as well as a 3.5 mm headphone jack. There’s also a side-mounted fingerprint reader and face unlock option.
Lava Blaze 2 Pro Cool Green, Thunder Black And Swag Blue will be available in different colors. The exact launch date is not yet known, but we will follow the developments.
