Lauri Vuorinen The Huima World Cup day culminated in the awards of Thursday night in the center of Trondheim. Vuorinen, who captured the Sprint World Championship bronze, got a tough company when the host’s superstar Johannes Hösflot Kläbo wrapped in World Cup gold and Italian Federico Pellegrino Silver.

– Let’s see. I don’t know. Here’s a week to celebrate before the next race, which is probably a couple of sprints. Let’s see what is done.

– I haven’t thought about yet. It took quite a long time before I got to the hotel and I had no time to calm down.
Finally, Vuorinen was asked if any congratulatory message was particularly remembered.
– Well not really. I called the groups there, Vuorinen said and laughed.
In the end, Vuorinen revealed a memorable call.
Republic Alexander Stubb had played a congratulation call to Vuorinen as soon as the surprise medal had been confirmed.
– The president called me the first time I got to the finish. It was pretty cool. Very warm call with Alex.
