Playing for the Utah Jazz Lauri Markkanen couldn’t fit in the basketball league NBA all-star game. The NBA announced the remaining players of the upcoming all-star game early Friday Finnish time.

The 14 players just mentioned were chosen by the votes of the head coaches of the NBA teams. Markkanen had sought a place in the western bloc team.

They come from the western bloc to play Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Davis, Devin Booker, Anthony Edwards, Stephen Curry, Paul George and Karl-Anthony Towns.

The Eastern bloc, on the other hand, is represented by Jaylen Brown, Donovan Mitchell, Jalen Brunson, Bam Adebayo, Julius Randle, Tyrese Maxey and Paolo Banchero.

The starting five of the all-star match was already announced last week. The starting five were chosen based on the results of a panel made up of fans, NBA players and the media.

They are in the opening five of the western bloc LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The opening five of the Eastern bloc were selected again Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum, Tyrese Haliburton and Damian Lillard.

Markkanen made history last year when he became the first Nordic player in the NBA to be selected for the all-star game.

This year’s game will be played on February 18 in Indianapolis.
