Lauri Markkanen was his team’s second best scorer in the training game against the New Zealand Breakers.
Lauri Markkanen represented by the NBA basketball club Utah Jazz started their training season with a 116–87 victory Petteri Koponen of the coached New Zealand Breakers. Markkanen scored 13 points in the match played in Salt Lake City and was the second best scorer on his team.

Markkanen was given responsibility for 15 minutes and his situational throws sank in with a good balance of 5/7. Out of two three-point attempts, the Finn sank one and the balance was 2/2 at the free throw line. Three rebounds were also recorded for Suomalaistahtäh.
Koponen is the head coach of the New Zealand club. The Breakers have won the first two games in their series, and they are now on a week-long practice game trip in North America. The Breakers, who play in the Australian NBL league, will also face Philadelphia and Oklahoma on their practice game trip.
