Lauri Markkanen is the only NBA player to make 100

Lauri Markkase might not have had the best shooting day in the NBA, but the Finnish star still made a historic trick in the world’s best basketball league.

Lauri Markkanen represented by the Utah Jazz lost basketball in the NBA to the Brooklyn Nets 110–111 (42-53).

The match was still meaningful for Markkanes, as he made the 200th successful three-pointer of the season at the end of the third period of the match, narrowing the score to 68–83. That throw ensured the Finn, who recently suffered from a hand contusion injury, did something that no one had been able to do before.

Markkanes became the only player in NBA history who has dunked the basket 100 times and made 200 three-pointers in one season.

Brooklyn dominated the fight from start to finish. Mikal Bridges led the Nets with 30 points.

However, the tenacious Jazz rallied from a ten-point deficit to within a point in the last three minutes. At the end Kelly Olynyk still got a place in the winning basket, but the throw didn’t sink.

Jazz’s back man Talen Horten-Tucker was at the end of the game, scoring the biggest score of the match, 32. In addition, he distributed eight assists that led to the basket.

The Nets made the active Corinteo difficult for Markkanen and doubled the Jazz’s key player when necessary. Lauri missed his first six long throws, but in the end he managed 23/9/2s in 35 minutes.

Markkanes had the best plus/minus statistic of the entire match, +11. Markkanen sank 8/21 shots in the match, 1/8 three-pointers and 6/6 free throws.
