Lauri Markkanen represented by the Utah Jazz narrowly lost to Philadelphia in the basketball NBA. The Jazz were in the fight for victory until the last seconds, but in the end Philadelphia took the victory with points 114–111.
Utah experienced a tough time again, as the previous match against Portland also ended in a narrow two-point loss in the very last moments.
The Finn bagged a total of 23 points, most of them in the opening half. He also had four rebounds and two assists.
In the final moments of the game, Markkanen was offered a three-point shot on two occasions. The first throw missed, but the second throw from far beyond the line sank into the middle.
There was so little time left on the clock after this that Utah collapsed to foul. Thus, Phidadelphia was allowed to embellish the final scores and the difference to three points from the free throw line.
Philadelphia was the most effective in the match, scoring 32 points Joel Embiid. They reached 20 points from Utah Collin Sexton and Brice Sensabaugh.
