The Denver Nuggets won away from Utah with a score of 132–121. Denver stars Nikola Jokić and Russell Westbrook notched triple-doubles, and Jokić reached 15,000 points in the process.
Last in the Western Conference, Utah suffered its fourth consecutive loss in the basketball NBA, when Denver went to get a victory over Salt Lake City with points of 132-121. Lauri Markkanen scored 17 points and grabbed one rebound for the Jazz.
Serbian colossus of the Nuggets Nikola Jokic scored 36 points, grabbed 22 rebounds and dished out 11 assists. For Jokić, who turns 30 in February, the triple-double was the 143rd of his NBA career. He is third in the all-time list, the first of which is Jokić’s teammate Russell Westbrook.
Jokić, who played 703 matches, also reached 15,000 points, and with his 15,006 points, he is 23rd in the statistics among active players.
Westbrook, 36, who moved to Denver this season, played a perfect game statistically, sinking all seven of his two-pointers and making both of his free throws. Westbrook, who scored 16 points, collected 10 rebounds and served 10 assists, which means that he now has a total of 201 triple-doubles in his career.
In addition to the points, Westbrook had the ball four times and never lost it. Westbrook became Domantas Sabonis followed by another player who has made a triple-double by throwing in all the throws without losing a single one.
More than 20 points from the Nuggets also reached Michael Porter Jr (21), Jamal Murray (20 points, 10 assists) and Christian Braun (20). Jazz’s scoring team had scored 24 points Jordan Clarkson.
Denver, the 2023 champion, is seventh in the Western Conference. The Jazz have won only seven of their 31 games.
