Lauri Joona and Janni Hussi’s rally sky ended in Jyväskylä | Sports in a nutshell

Janni Hussi and Enni Malkonen want to inspire more women

Hussi told about it on social media.

Driving in the WRC2 class of rally cars Lauri Joonan and a map reader Janni Hussin cooperation ends. Hussi confirmed on his Instagram account that last week’s World Rally Championship in Jyväskylä was the duo’s last race together.

– I am grateful to Lauri for all the lessons I have learned during the season and have been able to take the next step in my rally career. Before Jyväskylä, I decided that it would crown our season as the last rally together, Hussi wrote and also said that he would continue his rally career.

Hussi, who is known as a media personality, has worked as a map reader since 2022, and for this season he became Joona’s permanent map reader. In February, the duo gassed up for top class points in the Swedish World Rally Championship and the same was repeated in the Jyväskylä World Rally Championship, when the final result was seventh place.

Skoda driver Joona is fourth in the World Championship points in the WRC2 class.
