Arsenal beat Chelsea 4-1 on Sunday. A situation from the second half has stolen the headlines.

Chelsea star Lauren James delivered a stamp on opponent Lia Walti and received a yellow card from the referee.

Saga Fredriksson, former player in, among other things, the women’s league and current expert in Viaplay, criticizes the actions of James.

– It could very well have resulted in a red card. It’s not the first time we’ve discussed this kind of thing (around Lauren James), she says.

In this summer’s World Cup, James was suspended after an ugly stamp against Nigeria.

However, Lia Walti downplayed the incident after the match.

– Such things happen, it is part of football, she tells The Guardian.
