They would already go cycling in Japan anyway, so it started with that. While planning the trip, her partner Koen Rijnsent came up with the idea of taking the image as a gift for the Japanese Dom Tower. Kok has been making images from material that was released during the renovation of the Dom Tower. This has now become a typical Utrecht artwork, she says, with images of the Dom tower, the word Utrecht and Miffy on it.
