Researchers have shown that coffee intake can extend lifespan by an average of 1.8 years by reducing causes of functional impairment in the elderly, such as memory loss, depression and weakness, as well as deaths associated with cardiovascular, cancer and respiratory diseases.
Experts stated that drinking 2-3 cups of coffee a day is sufficient and should not be overdone, and that coffee can reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and Type 2 diabetes when consumed in moderation.
