Diseases associated with the monkeypox virus, which do not tend to spread easily among humans, are generally mild. The virus is most prevalent in Central and West Africa.

More than 80 cases have been reported in different countries, including some European countries, USA, Canada and Australia.

On the other hand, the British Health Safety Agency, in its statement, made the announcement that “People infected with monkeypox should not go to work for 21 days and should not come into contact with those with weakened immune systems, pregnant women and children under the age of 12”.
President of the British Sexual Health Association, Dr. Claire Dewsnap also made a statement. Dr. “This disease will have a huge impact on sexual health services,” Dewsnap said. We may see more cases in the next few weeks. What worries me here is that cases have been seen across Europe, so this disease has already started to spread,” he said.
‘Isolation’ DECISION FROM BELGIUM
In line with the decisions taken yesterday, Belgium demanded that people suffering from monkeypox should isolate themselves for 3 weeks.
