Woman reported missing

A 31-year-old woman from Timrå has been reported missing.

She was last seen at Liden in Sundsvall municipality at 1.15pm last Wednesday.

She must have traveled in a white Volkswagen Passat model year 2013, according to the police.

The woman should be approximately 156 centimeters tall and have short, dark and curly hair.

She was last seen wearing dark tights and a dark blue jacket with a fur collar and gold buttons. She had also had black leather boots with red roses.

Police are appealing for tips from the public and are urging anyone who may have seen her to call 11414.

  • Turkish Foreign Affairs Committee: Yes to Finland

    The TV channel states that it points to the jury postponing the decision until next week.

    Three men have been arrested on suspicion of gang-raping a teenage girl on a Ribersborg beach in Malmö 12 years ago, writes South Sweden.

    The gang rape was reported in 2011 and the police were then able to secure DNA traces from the perpetrators. But as the police did not find any hits in the register of convicts and suspects, the investigation was dropped.

    This year, the preliminary investigation was reopened. This after the DNA matches a man who was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault in January this year.

    – Then the preliminary investigation was resumed, says chamber prosecutor Lina Wiktor to the newspaper.

    During Wednesday, two more men were arrested on suspicion of the rape. The three men are suspected of aggravated rape against children, which has a statute of limitations of 15 years.

  • Slovakia sends fighter jets to Ukraine

    Slovakia donates 13 Mig-29 fighter jets to Ukraine, Reuters reports.

    The first aircraft have already been delivered.

    Poland will also contribute with fighter aircraft.

  • The military intelligence service gets a new chief

    Major General Thomas Nilsson has been appointed by the government as the new head of the Military Intelligence and Security Service (Must) at the Armed Forces.

    “I am happy for the trust to lead the military intelligence and security service in the future. “Must provides the government and the commander-in-chief with a unique basis for decision-making about developments in the world and threats to Sweden’s security,” says Thomas Nilsson in a press release.

    Thomas Nilsson takes office on 1 May 2023 and is simultaneously promoted to lieutenant general. He takes over the role after Lena Hallin, who retires, and he has previously worked at, among others, the Air Force.

    Nilsson is currently responsible for Sweden’s military accession to NATO.

  • SD threatens a government crisis

    SD threatens a government crisis if the Tidö parties do not agree on the reduction obligation, TV4 reports.

    Hello! According to the Swedish Food Agency, there are not unusually many outbreaks now. On the other hand, the most recent outbreaks have occurred at Sweden’s largest facility, which has led to a very large number of eggs being recalled.
