Sweaters recalled – can easily catch fire
Helly Hansen is recalling 15 different shirt models because they are too flammable, TT reports.
The sweaters contain brushed cotton which may not meet the fire safety requirements for clothing textiles. The wearer of the garment can therefore suffer burns if it catches fire.
“Consumers who purchased the recalled products are asked to destroy the garments by cutting them in half and send a photo of the destroyed product, including the label at the neck of the garment. Once the image has been received, the consumer will receive a credit receipt for another purchase,” writes Helly Hansen on its website.
