  • Viaplay lowers the forecast and warns of profit

    The streaming service Viaplay warns of profit in a press release that was sent out during the night.

    There it appears that the company is scaling back the short-term goals for 2023 and states the reason as an “increasing deterioration in the markets where the company operates”, reports Break it.

    The company’s president and CEO Anders Jensen is also resigning with immediate effect and handing over the post to the former MTG CEO Jørgen Madsen Lindemann.

    The announcement has caused Viaplay’s stock to plummet by over 50 percent on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

  • Fewer dead than feared in train crash in India

    Last Friday, three trains collided in Odisha, India.

    A passenger train derailed after colliding with a freight train. Then an oncoming passenger train ran into the carriages of the derailed train.
