Two people threatened their car with a weapon

At least two unknown perpetrators have threatened a car in Vårby during the night towards Tuesday.
One of the people had a weapon and also tried to take the victim’s jewelery and mobile phone.
The person was going to park his car when the crime occurred.
The police have opened a preliminary investigation regarding aggravated possession of means of transportation, aggravated weapons offense and attempted robbery.
No one has been arrested.

Lorry drove into police and emergency services on E4
A truck driver is suspected of several crimes after driving into police and rescue vehicles at an accident scene on the E4 outside Jönköping last night.
The truck driver has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, drug offenses and gross negligence in traffic, reports P4 Jönköping.
No one was injured in the accident.
Three cars have collided in Borås
Police, emergency services and ambulance have been alerted to Trandared in Borås where three cars have collided.
There are currently no reports of injuries.
Three to hospital after suspected arson
The police have started a preliminary investigation into arson after a fire in Henriksdal in Nacka municipality during Boxing Day evening.
The fire started in a garage and damaged two apartments in two stairwells in a residential area.
Three people were taken to hospital, one of them with serious injuries.
The fire scene will be cordoned off until the police are on the scene.
Woman hit by car – taken to hospital
The police, emergency services and ambulance were alerted to the accident at 05.30.
– It is a person who has been hit by a car, says Patrik Hedlund, alarm and line operator at the greater Gothenburg rescue service to GP.
The person hit, a woman, has been taken to hospital with suspected fractures.
House fire in Höör
The police and emergency services were alerted to a house fire in Höör shortly after 01:00 on Tuesday night.
It was a fully developed fire, reports the police.
No injuries have been reported. An arson report has been filed.
Ships with power plants can supply Ukraine with electricity
Power networks and large parts of Ukraine’s electricity supply have been damaged by Russian attacks.
More than 1.5 million people were without electricity in the Odessa region earlier in December after a Russian drone attack in southern Ukraine, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
But now floating ship power plants must secure parts of the electricity supply, reports Swedens radio.
It is a Turkish company that wants to send power vessels to the coast outside Ukraine. The idea is to supply up to one million households and businesses with electricity, according to the radio channel.
Blixthalka – truck overturned on E18
The sleet made it difficult for traffic during the night towards Tuesday. A lorry has overturned on the E18 outside Kristinehamn and in Jönköping a lorry collided with police and emergency services during work at an accident scene, TT reports.
At half past two on the night of Tuesday, a truck overturned on the E18 outside Kristinehamn.
The road is closed to the east and the Swedish Transport Administration expects a very large impact until ten o’clock.
Kim Jong Un: Our power has increased
The ruling Workers’ Party of North Korea opened its congress on Monday with a speech by leader Kim Jong Un.

Two arrested after fatal shooting in pub
A 26-year-old woman was shot dead in a pub in a small community outside Liverpool on Christmas Eve.

The police suspect that the woman who was shot to death was not the target, write Sky News.
A 28-year-old man was seriously injured in the shooting and is being treated in hospital.

Serbian forces on high alert
Serbian soldiers on the border with Kosovo have been put on high alert.
Defense Minister Milos Vucevic says so in a statement, TT reports.
The country’s president has decided to increase the current force from 1,500 to 5,000 men.
What the announcement means is not completely clear, since the Serbian soldiers at the border have already been on standby for some time.
The NATO-led peacekeeping operation Kfor is currently investigating a shooting that is said to have taken place in the northern parts of Kosovo.
Zelenskyi: Nine million without power

Around nine million Ukrainians are still without power after Russia’s attacks, President Zelenskyy said in his nightly speech according to TT.
He said at the same time that many people have had their power restored in recent days, thanks to the hard work of the electricity companies.
He warned that Russia may attack the power grid again.

Hi Nadire! It is true that many people have colds now. The Public Health Authority writes on its website that “several systems show that many people in the country are sick with respiratory symptoms or fever”.
The Swedish Public Health Agency explains that this may be due to the increasing spread of influenza as well as covid-19 and RSV.
