today at 21.52 Nora Fernstedt

An advertising campaign for panties on SL’s buses in Stockholm has been rejected by the Advertising Ombudsman’s opinion committee (RO), writes TT.

On the back of the buses there have been pictures of a woman with high-cut panties and the text “Nothing but perfect”.

The campaign has been reported both by private individuals and Sweden’s Women’s Organizations.

According to RO’s assessment, the woman is portrayed as a sex object, and the advertisement is gender discriminatory.
