Three men have escaped from custody
Three men have escaped from the Swedish Migration Agency’s custody in Åstorp.
The police were alerted to the incident at 05.19 this morning.
– We have gone there with a large number of resources and made an extensive search in the immediate area. We can confirm on the spot that some kind of hole has been made in a wall and a fence, says Katarina Rusin, spokesperson for police region South.
The men have not been found and the police have drawn up a report of vandalism.

JO does not investigate the Court of Appeal after the snippa case
The Judicial Ombudsman, JO, will not investigate the Court of Appeal after the high-profile asserted verdict against a 50-year-old man who was previously convicted of raping a 10-year-old girl. JO announces this in a press release.
The reason why the man was acquitted was that four out of five judges did not know what the word snippa means.
During the past week, around 200 notifications have been made to JO.
– The courts are independent in their judgment, that is stated in the constitution. JO cannot change or annul a judgment that a court has announced, says Erik Nymansson, head of JO, in the press release.
Man found dead – police suspect crime
On Thursday evening, the police and ambulance were called to an address in Färila in Ljusdal municipality due to an alarm about a cardiac arrest.
A 55-year-old man was found dead at the scene. The injuries to the man, and circumstances at the scene, make the police suspect that crime may be behind the death.
The man’s next of kin have been notified.
A preliminary investigation into murder or manslaughter has been opened.
Details: New Abba tour
The Abbaters are going on tour, according to Variety
A representative of the record company tells the newspaper that a world tour is now planned for the show “Abba Voyage”.
According to Variety, the news leaked out during a phone interview with board member Lucian Grainge about Universal Music Group’s finances.
– We plan to take “Abba Voyage” out into the world, Grainge told the newspaper.
Variety has tried to confirm the information from Abba themselves and other representatives at Universal, but they have not heard back.
Two diesel thieves arrested after police chase
A police patrol was able to arrest two men in their 35s who hosed diesel out of a truck at a traffic stop in Laholm on Friday night.
The men fled the scene over a game fence and into rough terrain where they could then be arrested, the police write on their website. A truck and several telephones have been confiscated and the men are suspected of theft.
Two cars have burned in Halmstad
The police were called to Odengatan in Halmstad because two cars had caught fire.
The fire is suspected to be arson and a report of damage by fire has been drawn up. No one has been arrested yet.
SMHI issues orange weather warning
SMHI has issued an orange weather warning for wind and snowfall for parts of Härjedalsfjällen and Jämtlandsfjällen on Friday.
People are strongly discouraged from going out on the mountain because, among other things, there is a high risk of frostbite and because the harsh weather can make it very difficult to orientate yourself on the mountain.
Several yellow weather warnings have also been issued. Among other things, for wind in northern Dalarna and large parts of southern Norrland and for snowfall in northern Ångermanland and parts of Västerbotten.
A yellow weather warning has also been issued for wind combined with snowfall on the Calf mountain. As well as gales for parts of the Baltic Sea, the Gulf of Riga, the Åland Sea, the Archipelago Sea, the Gulf of Finland and parts of the Bothnian Sea.
Snap reflex is revoked
Inter Agenturer is recalling reflexes of the snap-reflex type because they are too poorly visible and provide false security, the Consumer Agency states.
Inter Agenturer AB is recalling reflectors with article number 10029. The products have been sold during the period 2019-03-08 to 2021-11-04.
Murdaugh guilty of high-profile murders
The trial against Alex Murdaugh, 54, is over.
Last night, the jury’s decision came after just three hours of deliberations.
He is guilty of the murders of his wife Maggie, 52, and youngest son Paul, 22, who were found shot to death outside the family’s hunting lodge in South Carolina in June 2021.
It has been one of the most high profile murder cases in the US in recent years with a number of strange twists and turns.

US sends more ammunition to Ukraine
The United States will announce a new arms package to Ukraine on Friday, consisting mainly of ammunition, said John Kirby, a spokesman for the US National Security Council.
“It will mostly include ammunition and munitions that Ukrainians will need for the systems they already have,” says Kirby.
The package includes, among other things, vehicles with portable bridge systems, artillery shells and rockets for the Himars rocket artillery system, according to US defense sources. It is valued at around 400 million dollars, equivalent to 4.2 billion kroner. (TT)
Companies are allowed to produce cocaine
A Canadian pharmaceutical company has been granted a license to produce and sell cocaine, in an effort to get drug users to shun more unreliable street drugs.
In January, an exemption from the Criminal Code was granted in the province of British Columbia to decriminalize the possession of small amounts of drugs for three years.
It is hoped it will reduce the record number of drug poisoning deaths that have hit the province, with more than 10,000 deaths since 2016. (TT)
Man shot in residence
A man has been shot indoors in a home in Tullinge in Botkyrka south of Stockholm.
He has gunshot wounds to his upper body.
The man has been taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter, the police say.
The crime scene is cordoned off and will be examined by technicians.
The police use a helicopter and dog patrol in the hunt for the perpetrators.
The alarm about the shooting came at 0.11.
