A man has been arrested in Gothenburg after trying to throw a woman over a balcony railing from the third floor.
Before that, the woman had, among other things, been hit on the head, the police report.
The man is suspected of attempted murder. The woman’s condition is unclear.

Two people have been killed and four injured after a shooting in central Paris, French media reports.

Jewelery worth at least three million kroner seized
The police have confiscated jewellery, watches, handbags and cameras worth at least three million kroner, the police report.
Three people are in custody for aggravated weapons offenses and aggravated burglary.
– With the help of our goods detectives, we have succeeded in deriving 30 reports where citizens have been robbed of valuables. So what we in the police call the citizen benefit in this case is great, says Ulf Djurberg, head of preliminary investigations at the border police unit in the Stockholm region, in a press release.
The principal has had connections to a network in Eastern Europe that engages in serious organized crime, where drug crimes, trafficking and theft are common.
New manager for Noa named after Staaf
Charlotta Höglund becomes the new head of intelligence at the police’s national operational department Noa, writes DN.

They threw an ax into a car on Stenungsön
The police were alerted about a person who had thrown an ax into a car on Stenungsön on Friday morning.
A woman was sitting in the car. She should not have been injured in connection with the incident, according to the police.
The police have arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of serious assault, serious crime against the Knife Act and drug offences.
Problems with payments at Nordea
Storbanken Nordea reports that customers can currently encounter problems in the app.

Internal criticism of the V management – generous and high salaries
Dissatisfaction is growing within the Left Party. The inner circle around party leader Nooshi Dadgostar is described as a group of friends at the top who lack self-criticism, reports Today’s news who has spoken to several sources.

Suspected attempted arson at loading dock
The police were alerted to a grocery store in Stockholm that was said to have been vandalized on Friday.
According to the police, someone allegedly set fire to a loading dock and tried to pour suspected flammable liquid into the building.
The police have launched a preliminary investigation into attempted arson.
A technical investigation is carried out on site.
One in ten young people can do military service
The government wants more people to do the dirty work – in total they want to see 10,000 conscripts per year in the future, reports SVT News.
Closer to every tenth young person in future cohorts may do military service, currently it is between 5,000 and 6,000 per year.
Until 2025, it has already been decided that the number will increase to 8,000.
It is not enough, according to the government, which now wants 10,000 to do military service sometime between 2030 and 2035.
Fire in an industrial building in Djurängen

Over ten of Sweden’s most populous municipalities speak up Echo that more Swedes contact the municipalities’ budget and debt advisers.
