MTR is suing the striking commuter train drivers to the Labor Court, the newspaper writes The work.

The train company believes that the wild strike has such a big impact that the normal compensation, which is SEK 3,000 per person, is not enough – and they are now demanding extra high compensation.

MTR also wants the Labor Court to make a provisional decision that the strike should be declared illegal, and that the train drivers should immediately resume work.

The train stewards’ trade union Seko also risks damages of SEK 100,000 to MTR, even though they distanced themselves from the strike.
