The union about the train crash: Lack of safety systems
The train crash in the city of Larissa in Greece could have been avoided, says the Greek train drivers’ union, reports TT and refers to information from AFP.

Now President Sauli Niinistö will ratify the laws.
Turkey and Hungary must ratify Finland’s membership for the country to become a full member of the defense alliance.
Disturbances at Arlanda after excavated cables
Arlanda has suffered a technical breakdown during Wednesday morning.
For at least an hour, travelers have not been able to check in at counters and it has not been possible to pay at shops and restaurants.
– Nothing is happening here right now. You cannot buy or pay for anything here at Arlanda. All restaurants are closed, says a man who is at Arlanda to Aftonbladet.
According to Swedavia, problems are due to two unearthed cables.
– We are trying to understand the scope. What I do know is that two fiber cables have accidentally been dug up, both the regular one and the reserve one. This causes some problems both with check-in and parts of commerce at Arlanda, says Peter Wärring, press officer at Swedavia.

The condition of the stabbed policeman is stable

– Violence directed at a police officer is an attack on the entire Police Authority, our employees must feel safe in their work and at their workplace, this is completely unacceptable, says national police chief Anders Thornberg in a statement.
According to the police, the police station must be “secured” and employees receive support.
Woman found dead – being investigated as murder
A woman in her 70s has been found dead in a home in Katrineholm on Wednesday morning.
According to the police, the circumstances surrounding the death are unclear and a preliminary investigation into murder has been launched. A man in his 70s who was also found in the home has been arrested.
– It doesn’t really take much for us to take a closer look at the case. We need to do it in this case so that we can investigate whether it is a natural cause of death, says Angelica Israelsson Silfver, press spokesperson at the police.
What the circumstances are that are unclear, the police do not want to comment at this time.

The coroners have now been able to establish how 21-year-old Tove in Vetlanda died.
The autopsy report is ready.
– It was in line with the theories that we have had and suspected, the suspicions of how she died, says prosecutor Adam Rullman to P4 Jönköping.
P4 Jönköping asks if it is clear how Tove died.
– Yes, says Adam Rullman but does not want to go into any details or say what the cause of death was.
According to the report, Tove died in an apartment in Vetlanda where one of the two women suspected of murder lives.
It is unclear who shot – both are convicted of murder
A 19-year-old man was found shot to death in a field outside Enköping.
The Court of Appeal now stiffens the sentence for the two defendants to life imprisonment for murder – even though it is unclear who shot, TT reports.
The men, a 20-year-old and a 33-year-old, were sentenced in the district court to six and twelve years in prison, respectively, for aiding and abetting murder.
That is because it was not possible to establish which of the two shot.

The Legislative Council sees a new terror law
The government wants to make it a criminal offense to participate in a terrorist organization, and the new law should, according to the government, be in place on June 1.
The Legislative Council does not consider the government’s bill to ban terrorist participation to be sufficient, TT reports.
It should not be the basis for new legislation because, according to the Council of Laws, there is a clear risk that the law will involve too far-reaching criminalization.
According to the lawyers, it is doubtful and the law meets the requirements for clarity.
The law has been seen as an important part of Turkey approving Sweden’s NATO application.

Should it be billions?
Freddy
Hey Freddy! You are absolutely right about that. Sorry for the confusion!
Why raise the proposal for a possible driver’s license for an A-tractor? If it is decided, it will take several years before it comes into effect. Talk about it in like 5 years, nothing will happen in the next few years, it will be dealt with in the EU countries.
Kerstin Franzén
Hi Kerstin! Although it may be some time before the proposal becomes a reality, it is reasonable to report that it is on the table. The question of A-tractors engages many people, so suggestions in the area we consider to be of interest to our readers.
