The police hold a minute’s silence for Mats Löfving

On Thursday, the police will hold a minute’s silence on the occasion of the death of Stockholm regional police chief Mats Löfving, the police announce on their website.

All police stations in Sweden fly flags at half-mast and condolence books will be on display.

“The police authority’s focus is now to ensure that affected colleagues and relatives receive the support they need,” the police write.

    The 50-year-old woman is charged with protecting a criminal.

    – The prosecution for protecting a criminal is about the suspected woman disposing of the knife that was used and the slippers the man wore at the time of the crime. The woman has admitted about the slippers but denied about the knife, says the prosecutor.

  • Bus in ditch after accident

    Two buses are involved in an accident in Avesta.

    Two buses have collided in central Hedemora.

  • Three wanted in custody for shooting at Emporia

    Three more people are wanted in custody after the shooting at Emporia in Malmö, when a 31-year-old man died and one person was injured last year.
