Man detained on suspicion of murder in Malå
A man in his 50s has been detained on probable cause on suspicion of murdering a man in Malå in Västerbotten, reports SVT News Västerbotten.
The man denies wrongdoing.

The detained man and a boy under the age of 18 were arrested and detained on Monday. The boy was then released after the suspicions against him weakened.

Men fight in playground
The police have been alerted to a playground in Slottsskogen in Gothenburg.
Two men have fought with each other, and one of them has been taken to hospital by ambulance for a check-up.

Säpo investigates former employees within the Swedish Armed Forces
Säpo is investigating two people who were previously active within the Armed Forces for illegal corps activities, reports Swedish daily newspaper.

One arrested after assault with affection
An 18-year-old man has been taken to hospital by ambulance after he was abused by a man with a crush, the police write on their website.
The incident occurred in Oskarshamn.
The police have now arrested a man on suspicion of serious assault.
New flag day in Sweden
The government is introducing a new flag day in Sweden.
On the day of the elections to the European Parliament, the Swedish flag must now be raised.
“The day of the election is an opportunity to celebrate and draw attention to democracy and a day that should be solemnized by flying the flag,” says the government in a statement.
In June 2024, the first flag will be raised.
Orange warning for storm Otto
