The police have cordoned off an area in central Stockholm.
– It is a serious crime that we are currently investigating, says Mats Eriksson, press spokesperson at the police.
The alarm must have come just before four o’clock on Friday morning.
– We are carrying out a technical investigation of what we suspect is a crime scene, says Mats Eriksson.
According to information to Aftonbladet, the plaintiff is a teenage boy. The police confirm that it is a person under the age of 18.
– The arrested person is a man in his 40s, says Mats Eriksson.
The police believe that the crime must have taken place outdoors.
– No one has life-threatening injuries and there must be two people involved, says Mats Eriksson.

Tornado warnings have been issued in several cities.

A new report from the Swedish Agricultural Agency shows that more and more farmers have registered animals for slaughter, reports Swedens radio.
Due to drought and lack of pasture and silage, premature slaughter is being prepared.
– The farmers have already done a consequence assessment and based on it, more animals have been registered for slaughter, says the Swedish Agency for Agriculture’s investigator Bengt Jonsson to the radio.

At least 15 people have died after a traffic accident in Canada on Thursday evening, AFP reports.
The accident occurred on the Trans-Canada Highway near the town of Carberry.
According to local media, a truck and a bus for disabled passengers were involved in the accident.

On Wednesday, two climate activists attacked a painting by Monet at the National Museum in Stockholm.
The activists glued themselves and put red handprints on the protective glass – however, the painting survived without damage.
Now culture minister Parisa Liljestrand (M) rages against the activists and the action in a post on Instagram.
“It makes me so incredibly angry and provoked that some people take the right to indulge in priceless art and culture,” she writes and continues:
“Vandalism, vandalism or other criminal acts against art can never be justified, no matter for what purpose, and will not be accepted.”
Climate activists from the group Restore Wetlands has taken on the attack. They are now suspected of serious damage.
At 9 p.m., the emergency services were alerted to a wildfire just outside Vislanda in Alvesta municipality.
The fire has spread near the railway and is causing stoppages in train traffic, reports P4 Kronoberg.

After more than six weeks of negotiations, Finland’s cabinet maker Petteri Orpo has announced that the government program is ready, reports Swedish EPN.
On Friday afternoon, Orpo, who is the leader of the Samlingspartiet, will present the new government program.
The government will consist of the Collection Party, the True Finns, the Swedish People’s Party and the Christian Democrats.
The newspaper Iltalehti writes that one point in the program is to change the alcohol law to allow stores to sell stronger alcohol.
“Ministries must carry out an investigation into the liberalization of the sale of 15 percent strong wines,” writes IL.

Hard to know. What I do know is that the trial was supposed to be held now in June, but that it was postponed at the request of the prosecutor. The prosecutor believes that the trial can be held at the end of July at the earliest. You can read more here.
