Prince Harry’s autobiography “Spare” is the fastest-selling non-fiction book in UK history.
During the first day, 400,000 copies of the book were sold, writes Sky News.
– The only books that sold more on their first day are those with the other Harry (Potter) in the lead role, says the book publisher’s managing director Larry Finlay.
In Canada and the USA, just over a million copies were sold, writes New York Times.
Despite the book’s success, the prince’s popularity among the British has declined.

IS takes on attack in Kabul
The terrorist organization IS claims to be behind the suicide attack in Kabul on Wednesday where several people were killed, writes Reuters.
The attack occurred at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Afghan capital.
The police in Kabul have confirmed five dead.
But at the same time, a spokesperson for the Taliban regime’s Ministry of Information says that at least 20 people were killed.
A nearby hospital says more than 40 people have been injured.
Water leak in Ekerö – water tower shut down
A water leak in Ekerö municipality has caused Roslagsvatten to shut down the water tower in the municipality.
Almost the entire municipality will therefore be without water, reports P4 Stockholm.
During the night of Thursday, the leak was still not repaired and there is no forecast when it will flow as normal again.

More classified documents found in Biden’s office

Associates of US President Joe Biden have discovered another set of classified documents from his time as vice president under Obama, NBC News reports.
The disclosure comes just two days after the White House admitted that 10 classified documents were found in a former Biden office last fall.
Several of the documents were classified as top secret and are said to have contained information about intelligence sources.
Attorney General Merrick Garland has requested that prosecutors review the documents and how they ended up astray.
Biden is now receiving massive criticism as he previously criticized Donald Trump for similar handling of top secret documents.
The White House has yet to comment on finding number two. The documents have been found in a different location than the first set.
By law, all documents must be sent to the National Archives when a president or vice president leaves office.
Man shot outside pub – chased by police
The police are hunting a man after a shooting outside a pub on Kungsholmen in central Stockholm.
The alarm came in at 8:40 p.m.
– A man allegedly entered a pub and threatened a person with a gun-like object. Then he went out and fired a shot straight into the air, says police spokesperson Rebecca Landberg.
No one was injured.
The gunman, who is said to be middle-aged, is being hunted by police. Several police patrols are on site. Witnesses inside the restaurant are questioned.
The police are investigating the incident as a serious illegal threat and a serious weapons offence.
– Now during the work of the police, information has been added which has meant that serious extortion has also been added as a crime classification, says Landberg.
The police cordon off outside the pub and will carry out a technical investigation.
Two to hospital after triple accidents on E4
Three accidents have occurred on the E4 south of Skellefteå during the evening.
All took place between Bureå and Lövånger and it must be very slippery at the site.
Just before 20, there was an alarm that a bus had run off the road. Two people have had to be taken by ambulance to hospital according to The northbut the damage is unclear.
Just twenty minutes later, a truck drove off the road. No one was injured but the trailer is blocking the road. Traffic may be affected until 10 p.m.
In addition, a car has driven off the road at the exit for Önnesmark, reports P4 Västerbotten.
Details: Automatic weapons found in taxi – two arrested
The police stopped a taxi this evening in Rotebro, north of Stockholm.
According to information to Aftonbladet, an automatic weapon was found in a bag that was in the trunk of the car.
Several police patrols attended the case.
The taxi must have been on its way to Märsta. Two young men who traveled in the taxi have been arrested, Aftonbladet learns.
The taxi driver was taken in for questioning, according to information given to Aftonbladet.
The police in the Stockholm region cannot confirm any of Aftonbladet’s information regarding the weapon find or the arrested persons.

Man arrested after double robbery
Police were alerted this evening to two robberies in Uddevalla.
First, a grocery store in central Uddevalla had been the victim of a robbery. A masked person had taken cigarettes.
Just half an hour later, the same man robbed the pharmacy. The staff pressed the assault alarm.
No one was injured during the robbery and the perpetrator took medicine, including morphine.
The police were later able to arrest the robber.
– We have just arrested a man suspected of both robberies, says Fredrik Svedemyr of the police Bohusläningen at 20.15.
Human remains may have been found
The police have found remains that are believed to be from a person in Uppvidinge.
The remains were found outdoors and the site has been cordoned off during the day.
– We think it could be a human, it is older remains. It must be analyzed, says Evelina Olsson, press spokesperson for the police in the South region.
It was a private person who alerted the police.
– The person had found this in nature and thought it resembled a human. We sent a patrol that made the assessment that it is probably human remains, but we don’t know for sure, says Evelina Olsson.
The police technician has been working during the day. The remains will now be sent for analysis.
A preliminary investigation into murder has been opened.
– In order for us to be able to investigate this, we must have a classification and the classification that is close at hand is murder.
Sweden condemns executions in Iran
Sweden strongly condemns the executions carried out in Iran in connection with the ongoing protests.
“Sweden and the rest of the EU oppose the death penalty always, everywhere and regardless of the circumstances,” writes the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press release.
In the intervening days, Sweden summoned the Iranian ambassador in Stockholm to express Sweden’s and the EU’s clear condemnation of death sentences and executions linked to the protests.
Former Iranian defense chief sentenced to death
Iran’s former deputy defense minister Alireza Akbari has been sentenced to death for espionage, reports the semi-state Iranian news agency Tasnim according to VG.
Akbari holds both British and Iranian citizenship, according to BBC.
His wife says she has been asked to come to the prison in Iran for a “final meeting”.
Akbari was arrested in 2019 or 2020 and accused of spying for Britain, which he denied.
BBC Persian has obtained a voicemail from Akbari in which he says he was tortured and forced to make a false confession in front of a camera.
