An earthquake measuring 7.4 on the Richter scale has shaken Papua New Guinea.
The quake occurred at a depth of 80 kilometers, according to EMSC.
There are currently no reports of injured people. The quake occurred 46 kilometers from the town of Ambunti.

Man shot in Gothenburg
The police received an alarm at 6:15 p.m. that a 25-year-old man had been shot in the Strömmensberg district in Gothenburg, writes GP.
The man is taken to hospital by ambulance.
– We are working at the address with various preliminary investigation measures, says Pernilla Henry, duty officer at the police to GP.
The police are investigating the incident as attempted murder.
Bridge closed – car hit the barriers

One person has died and at least six are injured after an explosion at a cafe in Saint Petersburg.
This is reported by Reuters and refers to Russian state media.
The cafe is owned by the leader of the Wagner Group Yevgeny Prigozhin, according to Echo.
A well-known Russian military blogger is said to have died in the explosion, sources told the state news agency Ria.

Train traffic at Årstabron in Stockholm was stopped on Sunday.

Trump addresses the nation on Tuesday
On Tuesday, Donald Trump will make his first public statement after being impeached.

It is the first time a former US president has been charged in a criminal case.
Body found in search for missing woman
The police have found a dead woman outdoors in the Gävle area.
The find is linked to the search effort for a woman from Västernorrland who had been missing since March 22.
The identity has not been established, but relatives of the missing woman have been informed of the development, the police say.
According to the police, there is no indication that the dead woman was the victim of a crime.
US and Russia in talks: Concern for arrested journalist

US Foreign Minister Antony Blinken has spoken on the phone with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, reports Reuters.
Blinken states that he expressed concern about the American Wall Street Journal journalist Evan Gershkovich who was arrested on suspicion of espionage.
Russia has reportedly maintained that Gershkovich’s future will be decided in court.
Woman found dead – suspected murder
A woman has been found dead in a home in Falkenberg.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder as crime cannot be ruled out.
– It does not have to mean that a crime has been committed, but we do it to gather a wider toolbox, says police spokesperson Anna Hammarbäck.
The police have cordoned off the residence and will carry out a technical investigation.
According to the police, the man and woman must be familiar with each other.
– I can’t say more than that. It could disrupt the investigative work, says Anna Hammarbäck.
New candidate in the US presidential election

Former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson is now announcing that he is running for the Republican nomination in the 2024 US presidential election.
He thereby challenges ex-president Donald Trump.
– I am sure that people want leaders who want the best for the United States. Not the ones that speak to their worst sides, he tells AP.
Great rescue effort by the water
A major rescue effort was underway at the water’s edge near Stora Essingen in Stockholm after an alarm about a loud splash.
Both divers and helicopters participated in the operation.
At 6 p.m., the emergency services announced that they had left the scene.
– We have done a proper investigation and found nothing at all, says commanding officer Henrik Jynnesjö.
Negotiations completed for employees in trade
The employers’ organization Svensk handel and the National Confederation of Trade Unions have agreed on a new collective agreement.
The agreement follows the so-called “mark” and provides a salary increase of 7.4 percent over two years. 4.1 percent in the first year and 3.3 percent in the second year.
In total, the new agreement covers 200,000 employees in trade.
– These are the highest salary increases that we have ever received, says Linda Palmetzhofer, president of the Confederation of Trade Employees.

There is nothing in the constitution that prevents a person who has been charged or convicted of a crime from standing for election, or taking office as president.
