Storbank gets billion loan after crash
Credit Suisse will be allowed to borrow up to 54 billion dollars, corresponding to approximately 570 billion kroner, from the Swiss central bank. Bloomberg reports.

Fire in stairwell
A fire broke out in a stairwell in the district of Skarpnäck in southern Stockholm during the night of Thursday.
– We have several resources there. There has been a fire in the stairwell. Unclear how it started, but there has been a strong development of smoke. We assist the emergency services, says Carina Skagerlind, press spokesperson at the Stockholm Police.
The police currently do not know if the fire has any connection to the explosion in Hässelby in western Stockholm earlier in the night.

Region Skåne receives fines for broken lifts
Four lifts at Trelleborg’s infirmary were used even though they had been ruled out by an inspector, it says Trelleborgs Allehanda.
According to the inspection in October, two of the elevators had incipient wear on the ropes and in the other two the emergency telephones were not working. The property owner claims that the wear and tear was not as serious as claimed and that the phones had been repaired but that it took time to get them inspected.
Now Region Skåne is fined SEK 193,000.

The Wagner Group opens a recruitment center – wants to attract “Northerners”

The police are looking for armed men in Barkarby
Several people have alerted the police about a group of men with a weapon-like object in Barkarby.

Dead man found in car – has been identified
The police have identified the remains of the person who was found in a burned-out car in Mora municipality in February, reports SVT Dalarna.
The person turned out to be a man in his 80s who had been missing since November last year.

Drinking water is already running out in parts of southern Europe
