Man found with stab wounds in villa
At around 10:30 p.m., the police and ambulance were called to a villa in Önnestad outside Kristianstad.
In the villa was a 45-year-old man who was injured with a stabbing weapon.
Ambulance personnel have taken care of the man. At the moment, it is unclear how seriously injured he is.

Mostly up on Wall Street
Some New York stock indexes continued to rise on Thursday after the Fed’s rate hike on Wednesday.
The Fed raised by 0.25 percentage points and Wall Street reacted positively. The positive trend thus continued in most areas today.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq fared best with a rise of 3.3 percent, followed by the S&P 500 index which rose 1.5 percent.
However, the Dow Jones fell slightly and closed at minus 0.1 percent.
Facebook and Instagram’s owner company Meta Platforms rallied, rising 23.3 percent after Wednesday’s quarterly report that beat market expectations.
Several other tech companies, such as the communications company Zoom, Google’s owner company Alphabet and Microsoft had a good stock market day with increases of 6.1, 7.3 and 4.7 percent respectively.

The dollar strengthened slightly against the krone during the day – one dollar is traded for 10:37 kroner.
Teacher charged for kicking student in groin
A high school teacher is said to have kicked a student in the groin during a lesson, the teacher who denies the crime is now charged with assault. It reports SVT Uppsala.
The incident took place in the autumn of last year. The teacher denies any crime and says in police questioning that he just nudged the student with his toe.
The teacher admits, however, that he “patted” the student on the cheek after a provocation.
The teacher no longer works at the school.
The stolen swan was helped by the police
A swan was seen wandering around the British city of Plymouth on Wednesday.
According to the police, the swan had been stolen from the port of Plymouth, about three kilometers away, by a drunken man.
Subsequently, man and bird had been involved in a traffic accident, and the police feared that the swan had been injured.
The police drove the swan to the vet – but first they took a picture of the bird in the back seat of the police car.
“Not the usual prisoner!”, writes the police in Plymouth on Twitter.
The man suspected of taking the bird had disappeared from the scene when the police arrived.
New shooting in Malmö
Several shots have been fired inside a stairwell to an apartment building in Malmö. The police were called to the scene after several calls about loud bangs.
– We have a well-measured resource on site, says police spokesperson Rickard Lundqvist.
The incident must have taken place in Rostorp, the same area where the police found a man with a gunshot wound on Wednesday.
– If there is any connection, it is far too early to say, but it is of course not something we ignore.
The police have cordoned off the area.
– There are no reports of anyone being injured.
On Thursday, the police took two people into custody, but are tight-lipped about whether there is any connection between the custody and the shooting.
– We cannot comment on that, says Rickard Lundqvist.
Police are reported – accidentally shot inside the police station
Last fall, a police officer accidentally fired a shot inside a police station belonging to the Kronoberg Kalmar police area. It reports P4 Kronoberg.
The shot was fired from a submachine gun in connection with the police making a so-called cartridge out of it.
The incident took place inside an armory and is now reported as a very serious incident.

Seven countries close consulates in Turkey
Seven European countries are temporarily closing their consulates in Istanbul due to “security reasons”, reports DN.
It started with the Netherlands on Tuesday, followed by the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium and Switzerland.
The action is condemned in Turkey.

Attempted murder in Ludvika
A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Ludvika.
The man is said to have tried to kill a woman he is familiar with, according to the police. The suspected crime must have taken place in an apartment in central Ludvika.
The woman is aged 35 and has been taken to hospital, but the extent of her injuries is currently unclear.
The area is cordoned off and the police are waiting for technicians.
The government’s proposal: It is a crime to insult civil servants
The government wants to investigate a new crime: insulting an official. It reports SVT News.
– People who work for the public are exposed to violence and threats and harassment and undue pressure and protection for them must be strengthened. One such example is social workers who can endure terrible insults, says Minister of Justice Gunnar Strömmer (M) to SVT.
The government also wants to review tougher penalties for violence or threats against civil servants as well as sabotage against blue light operations.
In addition, they want to increase the possibility for public sector employees to receive confidential personal data.
The protection shall apply, for example, to police officers, social workers and others who may be exposed to violence and threats.
The investigation must be completed by 1 January 2024 at the latest.
Scooter accident in Boden – one to hospital
A snowmobile accident has occurred in a field near Boden, according to the police.
Exactly what has happened is currently unclear.
One person has been taken to hospital by ambulance.

Crackdown on organized crime yielded multi-millions
Several authorities were involved in a joint crackdown on organized crime in Helsingborg, TT reports.

Freedom of expression and freedom of demonstration are constitutional rights in Finland as well. But the Finnish National Police Board tells the news agency STT that similar protests cannot be approved in Finland.
