22 American soldiers were injured in a helicopter crash in northeastern Syria this weekend, the Pentagon said.
The MH-47 Chinook helicopter had a problem with one rotor during take-off and hit the hill hard.
The condition of all the soldiers is described as stable, but ten of them have been taken to more advanced medical facilities outside the region. (TT)

He was last seen by the family on Thursday and he is suspected to be in a forest environment.
He is around 178 cm tall and at the time of his disappearance he was wearing a red cap, the police write on their website.
The police urge the public to contact the police on 114 14 if they have seen the man.
