The Court of Appeal for Western Sweden changes the sentence from attempted murder to aggravated assault for a 17-year-old boy who stabbed an acquaintance in the back and punched him in the face in November this year, this is reported by Värmland’s Folkblad.
The district court based its decision on the fact that the boy had intended to kill the victim and sentenced him to two years of closed youth care.
