  • Vattenfall: Don’t postpone the bill – more to come

Around half of Vattenfall’s 850,000 customers have signed variable electricity contracts.

The December invoice will soon arrive and Vattenfall has called in extra staff to cope with the pressure on its customer service.

    – We know from experience that it will happen and we have prepared as much as possible and further trained our staff, says William Fredriksson at Vattenfall customer service, in a press release.

Vattenfall writes that the high electricity costs will be especially felt for households with small margins in their budget and that there is ultimately the possibility of applying for deferment or partial payment. But the call is not to postpone the payment

    – Winter continues in January, February and March. The call is therefore to pay as much as you can because there will be more electricity bills to be paid. So the main advice we give for the coming months is to review the electricity consumption you have at home, says William Fredriksson.

An 85-year-old woman was found dead under a large Christmas tree in central Boden on December 19, reports The Express.

The tree under which she was found stands in the square Medborgarplatsen.

    – Now this was a very dense spruce, and it was dense all the way down to the ground, so when you see how it looks, it’s not really that strange, says Anette Krig, head of preliminary investigations at the police, to the newspaper.

The last time the woman was seen alive was on December 13. On December 18, she was reported missing.

The police suspect that the woman may have been under the tree for several days before she was found.

    – Everything points to the fact that she has been there since Tuesday when she was last seen alive. We have no indications that she has been anywhere else between the time she disappeared and the time she was found, says Anette Krig.

  • Now that the snow and wind are blowing outside, it suits me to surf around and plan the spring plantings! Think how much money you save by cultivating yourself for the whole year’s use. Now I have the privilege of having my own land, but in the past I have had to cultivate a plot of land both with relatives and friends. Take care of the people and then enjoy what you have grown.
