Several people have died in connection with a shooting at a hotel in Kabul, Afghanistan, reports Reuters.

On Monday, gunmen opened fire inside the hotel, which often has Chinese guests. A large bang is said to have been heard before the men started shooting.

At least 18 people were injured and 3 died.

At least two of the dead were foreign nationals who tried to escape the gunfire by jumping from a balcony.

At least three perpetrators were killed by security forces. IS has claimed responsibility.

  • Tired of the neighbor – threw fireworks at him

A 55-year-old man in Ystad was relieved by the neighbour’s noise.

Then he stood on his balcony and threw a firecracker at him.

Police were alerted to an explosion in the residential area in July 2020. When they arrived at the 55-year-old’s home, he asked if they were there because he had just thrown a firecracker, reports Ystad’s Allehanda.

He told me that he drank three liters of wine, got drunk and went to bed. But the neighbor was so loud that he went up and told him to “shut up”. When that didn’t help, he went inside and got a firecracker.

It turned out that the man had 255 fireworks at home. He is now being sentenced for breach of public order, breach of the Explosive Objects Act and vandalism, as two window panes in the apartment building were broken.

  • Now the winter sickness is here

The season for winter sickness is underway, announces the Public Health Agency.

An increase in the highly contagious virus is expected in the coming weeks.

    – Last year the season was tougher than usual with many reported cases. Also, for the first time ever we saw two peaks in one season, usually we only see one peak which usually falls in February or March. The tougher season was probably an effect of the fact that hardly any cases were reported the year before, says Elsie Ydring, epidemiologist at the Public Health Agency.

    – How extensive the spread will be this season cannot be said.

FHM urges you to wash your hands with soap and water to avoid getting infected.

  • DI: M betrays the election promise of amortization break

Screenshot/The moderators Photo: The message remains on M’s website.

It doesn’t look like there will be any amortization break that the Moderates promised before the election, sources say Today’s industry.

The reason is that interest rates would rise too much.

The government has also claimed that it held dialogue with the Riksbank and the Financial Supervisory Authority about pausing the requirement, but this is denied by the Riksbank.

    – The Riksbank has had no contact with the government in this matter, says press manager Tomas Lundberg to DI.

On the Moderates’ website, however, the promise of a paused amortization requirement remains.

“Sweden is heading into a recession and we have high inflation. Households are finding it difficult to make ends meet with rising mortgage interest rates and rising prices for electricity, food and fuel. It creates pessimism that leads to lower consumption and risks pushing us deeper into recession. The moderates will therefore temporarily pause the amortization requirement to ease the burden on households and so that Sweden can survive the crisis.”

The woman was slightly injured in connection with the incident. She was arrested by police who used pepper spray during the arrest.
