Security during prisoner transport must be strengthened
After the recent releases, the government gives the Prison Service the task of strengthening the security of prisoner transports.
Minister of Justice Gunnar Strömmer (M) announces this in a comment to TT.
“It’s about preventing dismissals by making the right security assessments so that, among other things, armed guards through the Police Authority are used at the right times,” writes Minister of Justice Gunnar Strömmer (M) in a comment.
Security at Sis homes must also be increased.
Access to mobile phones and computers must be “severely limited”, so that inmates cannot plan crimes and escapes.
The announcement comes a few days after convicted murderer Frunze Saghatelyan, 17, was acquitted in Södertälje.

SAS postpones multibillion-dollar loan – the share is soaring
SAS postpones the second half of a billion dollar loan of SEK 4.7 billion, reports Danish Finance.

The Swedish Work Environment Authority demands a fine of half a million kroner from Kronfågel after staff were infected by campylobacter, reports Swedens radio.

The locomotive drivers’ strike is underway – major disruptions in traffic
There are major disruptions in commuter train traffic as a result of staff shortages, SL announces on its website on Monday morning.

The reason for the disturbances is the train drivers’ strike that began at 03:00 on Monday.
The strike is expected to last for three days until April 19 at 23:59.
Buses will increase traffic on Monday in several places between 06:15-09:15 and between 15:00-19:30.
Fire outdoors in Tingsryd – two people injured
There is a fire outside in the countryside in Tingsryd, the police report. Emergency services and an ambulance are on the scene due to an extensive fire.

WHO: Over 80 dead in fighting in Sudan

Iranian police shut down businesses after violating the hijab law
Over 150 businesses have been closed in Iran because they did not respect the hijab law, writes TT.

The law requires women to wear a veil that covers their hair.

Six soldiers killed during rescue mission
Six soldiers have been killed and 30 are missing after they were attacked by separatists during a rescue mission in Indonesia, reports The Guardian.

Suspected dangerous object
A suspected dangerous object was found in the stairwell of an apartment building in Helsingborg.
– It was someone who lives at the address who raised the alarm, says Tommy Bengtsson, officer on duty at police region South.
The alarm came shortly after 00 during the night of Monday. The police cordoned off the area and residents had to evacuate the building.
– National bomb protection just arrived.

The bomb disposal finds that the object is harmless. Residents have been allowed back in.
The police are investigating the incident as a serious illegal threat.
