Russia: “We shot down US robots”
Russia’s Defense Ministry said on Monday that it had shot down US-made missiles over Russian territory. According to the statement, it is about four anti-radar robots of the Harm type, CNN reports. They were allegedly shot down in the Belgorod region, near the border with Ukraine. The information has not been confirmed by the United States.
In August, the Pentagon stated that Ukraine had obtained access to Harm robots modified to be able to fire from old Soviet-style warplanes, writes The Times.

Trump: “It strengthens me”
The House of Representatives committee on Monday called for the impeachment of Donald Trump after the storming of the Capitol.
During the night towards Tuesday, Swedish time, Trump commented on the announcement.
“These people don’t understand that when they attack me, people who like freedom gather around me. It strengthens me. What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger,” he wrote in his own social network Truth social, The Hill reports.
According to the committee, Trump violated four laws in connection with the storming.
SMHI warns of slipping
SMHI warns of sudden icy conditions when rain falls on cold roads during Tuesday. Five warnings – all at the lowest, yellow level – have been issued and basically cover the whole of central Sweden, parts of southern Sweden and southern Norrland. The Special’s singer Terry Hall has died, the band confirmed on Twitter.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry, our beautiful friend, brother and one of the most brilliant singers, songwriters and lyricists this country has ever produced, after a short illness”.
What caused Hall’s death is not known.
The British singer turned 63 years old.
Court in Libya sentences 17 IS members to death
In Tripoli, a court has sentenced 17 IS members to death, TT reports.
Two people are sentenced to life imprisonment and 14 others are sentenced to shorter prison terms.
According to the court, they are sentenced for the murder of a total of 53 people, for having destroyed buildings and kidnapped people. The crimes are said to have been committed in connection with the city of Sabratha, in northern Libya.
Two pedestrians and motorist in accident
Shortly after 9 p.m., SOS was alerted to an accident on Rådhusgatan in central Östersund.
According to the police, two pedestrians and a motorist were involved in the accident.
The police are working on the scene and there are no reports of any injuries yet.
Car overturned in single-vehicle accident on E20
It was 19.02 when SOS received an alarm about the accident.
According to the police, it was a car that drove off the road on E20/county road 2626, near Kvänum in Vara.
According to the police, two people who traveled in the car escaped with minor injuries.
– The car has gone off the road and overturned, but people who were in the car have managed well, says Stefan Gustavsson at the police command center.
At 7:20 p.m., the police had finished work at the scene and traffic should flow as usual.
There are no suspicions of crime.

Total standstill on E18 – truck in the ditch
A truck with a trailer has skidded off the road and ended up in the ditch on the E18 east of Kristinehamn.
According to the police, the railings and other road equipment have suffered extensive damage.
Traffic was stopped in both directions during the rescue work, but after 10 p.m. cars are allowed to pass alternately.
According to the police, a total standstill is expected for almost an hour when the truck is to be recovered.
Armed robbery against Coop
It was 5:25 p.m. when police and security guards received an assault alarm from a Coop store at Rödaledstigen in Varberg.

Defense equips itself against drones – with Wingman and Pitbull
Drones flying over protected objects have become increasingly common. The military – which equips itself to detect and knock out drones – doesn’t like it.
A quick deal has been concluded with a Danish company, the Swedish Armed Forces announces in a press release.
– It is about two systems. It is portable and should go to units with guard duties. It has a device that warns of drones and one that disrupts it. The system is called Wingman and Pitbull and is bought from Denmark, says lieutenant colonel Ulf Lepp.
The equipment will be installed on units within the air force and navy already before the turn of the year. Then it must be rolled out on a broad front.
The Dobberman system is also purchased from the same supplier to protect military transports.
The ambition is to then increase the ability further. Among other things, tests of laser weapons and microwave weapons are carried out. In 2023, the Swedish Armed Forces plan to strengthen protection against military drones.
– In war, other rules and laws apply, then it’s about shooting down or striking out, in different ways. This is done with systems that are more reminiscent of military air defense, says lieutenant colonel Ulf Lepp in the press release.

Is it really a case if the police suspect attempted murder? Why suspect the woman instead of putting the weight and weight on what the police suspect: that a man pushed her to her death.
