State epizootologist Karl Ståhl at SVA has previously said that one should not stare blindly at the number of plague-infected pigs, but rather focus on the geographical area in which they are found.

So far, the infected wild boars have been found within a smaller area in the infected zone, which SVA sees as something positive.

You can also take a look at SVA’s website to see exactly where they were found.
