Police are looking for missing man
A 64-year-old man has gone missing in Kopparberg. At 6pm on Thursday he went for a walk and hasn’t come back since.
According to the police, the man is approximately 180 centimeters tall. He has short gray hair, slim build and wears glasses.
He is probably wearing black and blue jeans or black work pants.
The police urge the public to call 112 if they see the man.

The doctor: “Biden is fine”
US President Joe Biden has been declared fit for work after an annual health check.
“The president does not use tobacco products, does not drink alcohol, and he continues to exercise at least five days a week,” writes Biden’s doctor.
Joe Biden, 80, is the oldest president ever in the United States. He has not yet announced whether he will run for re-election next year.

Fire at an inn in Kisa

A fire started at a loading dock in Kisa on Thursday evening.
– It was next to the inn in Kisa, an old and historic wooden building, says Lennart Ågren, officer on duty at the rescue service in Östra Götaland.
– It burned heavily up against the facade, but a quick intervention could prevent it from spreading into the property.
No one was injured in connection with the fire.
The police have cordoned off the area.
– We have classified it as arson. We put that classification in order to be able to investigate the incident, says Erik Creutz, duty officer at RLC.
Suspected attempted murder in Helsingborg
The police were alerted to a suspected attempted murder in central Helsingborg at around 10pm on Thursday.
– Someone thinks they see a person being stabbed, says Rickard Lundqvist, press spokesperson at police region South.
When the police arrived at the scene, they found neither the perpetrator nor the victim.
– Then there was information from the emergency room that a person had sought care for stabbing or slashing injuries. We work after it is the same event.
The injured man is in his 20s. The police are collecting witness information and looking for one or more perpetrators.
– We secure what we call traces, we take clothes and the like. Then we will interrogate the man who is injured.

A man has been shot in Bredäng, reports The Express.
The shooting is said to have occurred just before 10 p.m.
The police write on their website that an injured man was found at the scene.
There is no information on the state of the damage.
“The suspected crime scene is cordoned off and the police have many patrols in place in the area to search for suspected perpetrators in the immediate area”.
A person who was nearby tells Aftonbladet:
– I heard something that sounded like automatic weapons. When I went down to the gate I saw three police cars.

“Miracle girl” rescued from the racial masses in Turkey
Aleyna Ölmez, 17, has been dubbed the ‘miracle girl’ after surviving 248 hours in the stampede after the earthquakes in Turkey, reports CNN.
She was rescued and taken to hospital on Thursday.
Ölmez’s doctor told Turkish television channel TRT Haber that she is fine under the circumstances.
The fact that she has not been able to move may have saved her, according to the doctor. This has meant that she has not wasted unnecessary energy.
Bruce Willis has dementia
Actor Bruce Willis has been diagnosed with dementia, ex-wife Demi Moore says on Instagram.
“Since the spring of 2022 when we announced that Bruce had been diagnosed with aphasia, the condition has developed and now we have a more specific diagnosis. Frontotemporal Dementia,” she writes and continues:
“Unfortunately, the difficulties with communication are only a symptom of the disease. Although this is painful, it is a relief to finally have received a diagnosis”.

Biden: We don’t know what kind of balloons they are
The President of the United States commented on Thursday for the first time about the three unidentified balloon-like objects that were shot down in the United States and Canada.
– We do not yet know exactly what these objects are, said Joe Biden.
He believed that the balloons could not be linked to China’s, or other countries’, espionage activities.
They were probably balloons used for commercial or research purposes.
He also talked about the previous balloon, the “spy balloon” from China.
– We want to compete with China, not have a conflict with them. We don’t want a new cold war. But I’m not going to apologize, Biden said of the downing of the Chinese balloon.
Man is being hunted for attempted kidnapping
A man has tried to bring a child who was out with the dog in Jakobsberg.
A large police operation is now underway in the area.
– The man has made contact with a younger person outside. We searched for him for quite some time and inventoried camera footage in the area. No one has been detained, but we will continue to work, says police spokesperson Carina Skagerlind.
A preliminary investigation into attempted kidnapping has been launched.
Trustly’s and Zettle’s websites down
Fintech company Trustly’s and payment system company Zettle’s websites are down.
The hacker group Anonymous Sudan wrote on Thursday evening that it would attack electronic payment companies. Among other things, Trustly and Zettle were singled out as targets.

Man detained on suspicion of murder in Malå
A man in his 50s has been detained on probable cause on suspicion of murdering a man in Malå in Västerbotten, reports SVT News Västerbotten.
The man denies wrongdoing.
– He is appalled by the accusations and categorically denies any crime, says the man’s lawyer Jens Nyström to SVT.
The detained man and a boy under the age of 18 were arrested and detained on Monday. The boy was then released after the suspicions against him weakened.
