A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of, among other things, attempted murder after running into a police car in Södra Sandby, Lund municipality.

The police try to stop the car in a routine check and pull up next to the car. Then the police car is thrown off the road and turns around.

The man fled the scene of the accident.

A police hunt for the man was launched and he was later arrested in a residence in a nearby residential area.

    The sentence for both is fixed at probation.

  • Woman dead after accident in garage

    An 85-year-old woman has died after she was hit in a garage in Hultsfred on Monday, Dagens Vimmerby reports.

    The newspaper states that it was the woman’s husband who drove the car and that it appears to be an accident.

    Since the accident, the woman has been treated in hospital, but has now died from her injuries.

    The woman’s relatives have been notified.

  • Recall eggs – risk of salmonella

    Axfood is recalling eggs from Garant, after it was discovered that they may contain salmonella.

    that covid is still “notifiable, which means that confirmed cases must still be reported by the healthcare system to the regional infectious disease doctor and the Public Health Authority.”

    I don’t think people know this, during December at least 25 of my acquaintances have been diagnosed with covid but no one has reported this anywhere. Can you figure out what to do when home covid tests are positive?
