Pig slaughter is increasing – other meat is decreasing

Last year, 2,672,400 pigs were slaughtered in Sweden, according to a report from the Swedish Agricultural Agency. It is the highest figure since 2011 and an increase of one percent from 2021. Translated into weight, this is over 250,000 tonnes of pigs.

For other animal species – beef, sheep, lamb and poultry – the trend is downward.

  • Freed prisoners can be taken to Spain

    Spain has decided to offer citizenship to more than 200 prisoners who were released by Nicaragua on Thursday and brought to the United States, announced Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares.

  • Detonation in Helsingborg
