The DPC believes that Meta needs to re-evaluate how they use personal data to improve their service.

The US and Germany are in talks about support packages
US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin is in Germany for a meeting with the country’s Defense Minister Boris Pistorius. The reason for the meeting is to discuss a possible support package for Ukraine with Leopard 2 tanks, reports Reuters.
It has previously been reported that Germany only wants to send the tanks if the US does. Which is something Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has criticized.
– This is a time when we should not hesitate or compare, the president said during the World Economic Forum in Davos and elaborated:
– When someone says “I give tanks if someone else also gives tanks”. I don’t think it’s the right strategy to choose
French minister on the protests: “devilish Thursday”
Ongoing riots paralyze France.
It is France’s trade unions that are behind Thursday’s mass mobilization, after the government implemented a pension reform last week, TT reports.
The reform means that the retirement age for most people in the country will be raised from 62 to 64.
The strikes are now paralyzing the majority of Paris public transport and large parts of train traffic throughout France, as well as parts of the country’s education system as many schools remain closed.
Even before the strikes broke out, the country’s transport minister warned that the day would be a “devilish Thursday”.
Wants to brand the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist

On Wednesday, the European Parliament voted to label Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.
Now Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian is warning that the EU is “shooting itself in the foot” if the organization is branded a terrorist and that Iran will respond with countermeasures, state Iranian media reports, according to France24.
Parliament points out in particular that the IRGC suppressed the large protests that have been in Iran in recent months and supplied Russia with drones.
The vote is not binding, but a clear signal ahead of the member states’ foreign ministers meeting in Brussels next week to discuss further sanctions against Iran.
The party leaders about their electricity bills – Busch ducks the question

Aftonbladet has previously reported on people who received record high bills after the shock increase in the electricity price.
Now several party leaders are telling us SVT News what they had to pay for their electricity for the month of December.
Johan Pehrson (L) says he paid a bill of SEK 14,000. Magdalena Andersson (S) had to cash out SEK 10,000.
Jimmie Åkesson (SD) had to pay almost SEK 9,000, while the outgoing party leader Annie Lööf had to pay SEK 10,000.
Märta Stenevis’s (MP) bill landed between SEK 5,000 and 6,000, while Nooshi Dadgostar (V), who is the only one living in an apartment, had to pay around SEK 1,000 to 2,000.
Of the party leaders that SVT Nyheter asked, however, Ebba Busch (KD) is the only one who chooses not to answer the question.
– I keep that to myself. I think that very many Swedes should have the right to not have to share what their electricity bills are, she tells the newspaper.

How much should private households receive in electricity subsidy?
Marianne
Hey! How much you get in support depends on which electricity area you live in, so it’s a bit difficult to answer that in general terms. The payments are based on the consumption you had from October 2021 through September 2022.
You can read more about it here.
