North Korea takes “measures” ahead of military exercise

today at 03.51 Johan Edgar

North Korea has decided to take “important practical” war deterrent measures, state news agency KCNA reports. The announcement comes the day before South Korea and the United States are to begin their largest joint military exercise in five years.

The decision was made at a meeting of the ruling party’s military commission chaired by the country’s leader Kim Jong Un.

KCNA reports that the measures are being taken to “deal with the current situation where the war provocations from the US and South Korea are approaching a red line”, but it is not clear what measures are to be taken.

South Korea and the United States will begin the joint exercise “Freedom Shield” on Monday, the focus of which is the “changed security environment” as a result of North Korea’s increased aggression, the countries state. (TT)

Hello! Forwarded your question to entertainment colleague Stina Dahlgren (also called Schlager-Stina). She says this:

“If you only want hits on spotify, absolutely. But if you want to win Eurovision, you have to have a good number too.

Performing live with a good number, which many artists also do in the time after the Melodifestivalen, also brings significantly more income for the artists than gigs on Spotify.”
